Subversive songs and duets that Purcell and his friends sang three centuries ago behind closed doors: Songs protesting and ridiculing the tyranny of government, politicians' hedonists, militarism and glorification of the dead at the expense of the living. A song about a political prisoner, which can be locked up but his mind is free. And songs about sexual harassment and women's empowerment, ageism, and even the conflict between national pride and the desire to drink good wine (The solution: Put your pride aside and drink French wine).

Fortunately, today it is not really dangerous sing these songs.
We will perform these songs set to the wonderful music of Purcell, as well as songs and duets about love, the beauty of nature, and a wonderful device that makes brandy from wine and whiskey from beer.
